Hi, I am a noob and a little bit stupid, too, so plz write slowly^^. My setting: I did a softmod in Sept. 2007 by using KRayzie Ndure 1.1.1 and the SC exploit. It works fine. However, I might 've done minor mistakes, especially by implementing XBMC as dash - but it works. I still have the softmodded working HDD. My aim: Now I want to install a bigger 300 GB HDD (lockable). What I tried before: I burnt countless CDs and DVDs with XBOXHDM 1.9. Of course I made sure, Hidden C:\ resp. the shadow-image is on the CD/DVD. (My EEPROM is back-uped on my PC.) Nevertheless, after locking correctly and putting the HDD in my xbox again, it spits out "21" all the time. My guess: The chance I am wrong is big so ignore this: I think I messed up some folders in the XBMC by playing around without knowing what I am doing. This may be why xboxhdm doesn't work for me, since I copied my (damaged?) complete C:/ and E:/ folder to it. Anyhow: I downloaded AID Lite 4.10 and the 4.13 update pack. Although I have no clue if it works for my problem. If you have any solution by using AID I'd be very pleased. I'm so frustrated right now..I'd prefer avoiding xboxhdm currently. If xboxhdm is the only method, I'll burn my 1001st Disk /: Plz Help me!
if your stock HDD still works then use your AID disk to install chimp 2.4 as an app and follow the tut to clone your stock drive to the new drive. i softmodded my box 3 weeks ago and have just done my HD upgrade with no problems. regards Fenris
Hi, problem is solved. I took Xplorer360 and copied my comlete HDD to the bigger one. Works fine now Thx for your help, though.
