VirtualDUB Error With Xvid Codec

Hello afterdawn members

I am trying to load a 200mb avi that has been encoded using the lastest version of the xvid codec into virtualdub so I can boost the colours and do a little work on it and I keep getting an error message saying cannot locate decompressor even though I have the k-lite mega codec pack installed with xvid and everything.

How can I fix this because I really want to do some work on this video clip.

If you start VirtualDub and click 'Video' 'Compression', does it list the 'XviD' codec?
