I have no idea where to post this, I'm having a blond moment. It is safe to have both of those programs running at the same time?

while running both programs, does this interfere with other programs? Does your computer crash because your run both programs together? If no other issues occur then it's safe to run both programs together!

They won't work if you run them at the same time. Uninstall one.

Use one or the other. PG2 being the easier option...Less fannying about. :-)
