i left my xbox for a week without starting it and then just then i tryed turning it on and nothing happens. a little while back i bought a universal power supply, probably just before christmas to get it working and it did and now it isnt. can some one help thanks
Could be you have a bad power supply circuit board in your xbox. You'll have to get it fixed or buy a refurb, unless you know what you're doing. I'm an electronics tech, and here's what could be the problem. You could have some bad capacitors, a bad transformer, or something in the circuit is shorted, or a resistor is open. The cheapest thing for you to do is take it to a gamestop and see what kinda refurbs are available, or if they have repaired power supply circuit and replace it yourself. Or you can just go to ebay and see what is out there.
