RAM slots?

    Hi , Have an issue regarding my RAM. Just wondering i have 1gb of RAM in the form of 2x 512MB, I want to have 2GB of ram, obviously now ive got 1, But whats the cheapest way of getting 2gb of ram , could i buy 1gb RAM along with my 2 512mb slots now. I have 2/3 slots taken

    If you have 3 slots then i presume that your RAM doesn't have to be installed in exact pairs, or that would be a bit stupid... So yes, the easiest way would to just buy an extra 1GB stick.
