Confused about DVD Flick Burn Procedure

OK I successfully encoded my wmv files using DVD Flick. They are in my hard drive waiting for burn to DVD. (DVD Flick still won't recognize my MPEG files. Whatever.) But following encoding, the DVD Flick screen offers no Burn To DVD button, as does Nero and others. When I go to my hard drive and select Copy to DVD I get a data disc that only plays on my computer. How do I get DVD Flick or my computer to burn a playable DVD? Thanks.
