Networking Vista PC and XP PC!!!

    Please can someone help me!

    I am trying to set a network up at home. One PC is running windows VIsta Ultimate and the other PC is running windows XP pro. For the life of me I can't network them together to swap files etc. Can anyone help with a step by step guide or something.

    well I gotta ask, did you set them both on the same workgroup?
