touchin keyboard freezes computer?

Hi i got this massive problem with my desktop. i can scroll round with my mouse an open programs no bothers but as soon as i touch a key on the keyboard it freezes the mouse an jus cannot do any thing then... not even able to shut it down.. Anyone got any solutions cause i never came across something like this before.. help is needed if possible but feel very doubtful!!

 

Check your keyboard connection. Get a new keyboard. What keyboard do you have?

 

ya see thats the thing like i used a different key board but same problem. an like sometimes if i reboot my computer it works oly some times tho. like i cud b waiting ages.. an if i go ta the control panel an go to hardware an go to keyboard it like has nothin there.. the times it works den it do..

 

check that your key board isnt plugged into your mouse and your mouse plugged where your keyboard goes

 

no joy there either. such an irritating problem.

 

Try using a Keyboard that connects via USB, if this solves your problem then your Keyboard port is faulty.
