i need help burning a dvd plz

ok im using DVD Shrink 3.2 and DVD Decrypter i also have AnyDVD 6.0.8.8 the problem is everytime i try 2 burn iso backup file i get this error message

First off, make sure your firmware is uptodate.

Junk media. Get Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.

 

thats the thing i need 2 update my firmware but could someone help me figure out how?

Open up DVD Decrypter. Right click on Source box, where you select which drive you want. Select the last option which is Check For Firmware Updates..."

 

when i click on the source box nothing pops up?

ok i did that and everytime i try 2 download new firmware i get this type of file

You downloaded the binary file. Go to this link and download 2.05 Binaries and DOS Flasher. Once finished downloading, double click on the EXE file; then follow the prompts.

 

It would be better to upgrade the burner. The 2510 is an older burner no longer supported by NEC and the DVD you are trying to burn may not be in the drives firmware. If you need some good help, google for Liggy&Dees NEC firmware.....

 

v2.19 is the newest firmware I could find.

 

The firmware is 2.0A. v.2.19 is for burners with 2.1* firmware.

You are not using the correct firmware!!!!

Your drive is a Nec ND-2510A. The firmware you should update to is 2.0A:

From the picture that you have posted, you tried to flash with the firmware 2.1B for the Nec ND-3500A!!

 

ok well i installed the new firmware but 4 some reason dvd's still arent showing up i can't back em up using dvd shrink?

 

help plzzzz

 

As posted above, get better media. CMC is crap.
