Ok, so I got two sas controllers in my server(dl580g5). Controller 1 (Smart Array p400) has a 4 drive RAID 1+0. Controller 2(Smart Array p800)has a 8 drive RAID 1+0. I want to install RH5U1 x64 and use a DUD for controller 1 and 2. Now when I use the DUD(cpq_cciss 3.6.18-11), my RAID 1+0 on drives 4-8 attached to controller 2 are now gone in disk druid.

If I don't use the DUD the logical drives show up in disk druid. I was told there is nothing wrong with the driver, any ideas? I think the driver is no bueno!

    I think so too..

No solution from me.. I use scsi without raid.. personal preference.. my drives are all different sizes so raid doesn't work reliably and wastes a lot of space ;)

I would try ozzu.com and ask anarchySI

Yea, it was a driver issue!
