    SAMSUNG Color Laser Printer CLP-600N
There isn’t a “Printers” forum section here at afterdawn, I didn’t know where exactly to post this thread but I hope someone can help me out. Many of you may have laser printers, I’ve never had a laser printer before and the configuration sheet printout contains some numbers that I quite don’t understand or seem vague.

This printer can print 4,000 pages per cartridge at 5% toner coverage printing at Normal print. Every laser printer from what I’ve heard as an “Average Toner” yield. I printed a test page but the toner coverage numbers are way above 5%. I printed text and the figures seemed to decrease. The toner ink remaining percentages I understand. I’m asking about the toner coverage percentages. Its there a way to adjust the toner coverage percentages and keep them fixed? Or are the percentages figured based on the amount of ink used?

I looked through the manual and the samsung website but those sources don't provide any reliable information.
If someone could me out it would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a couple of months since I've posted this thread. By printing configuration pages, all the info that I was seeking was there.
