is there anyway i can put my computer back to a date to get media files???

just wondering ive burned a series to dvd and the dvd is not working just wondering is there anyway i can but my computer back to a date when they were all on it and get them and trow them on my mp3 player

then but the date back??????

I assume you're talking about Windows System Restore. This feature will allow you to create restore points and move back in time, but it only applies to certain features, such as applications, registry settings, drivers, etc... With that being said, it doesn't apply to documents and personal files. In short, the answer to your question is no.

If you're talking about a 3rd party application, then it might be possible. You'd have to tell us what that application is.
