Is is possible to backup a DVD9 game to 2 DVD5 discs? I have the ability to burn DL discs, I just don't have any at the time and they are also way more expensive then DVD5. On top of that I have an amazing amount of DVD5 discs that I bought on Black Friday. (it was like 100 for $3, bought like ten of them :p )

Is there anyway to go about doing this? One way I was going to do it was to copy the files from the disc, and just place it half and half on two DVD5 discs. Then when I want to install the game just place on the files back in a temporary folder. Is that the only way of doing it?

EDIT: Think I just found my answer here.

Make an Image of the DVD9 using Alcohol 120%
or dvd decrypter, Once your image is made,
You can split the image into seperate files,
(Using Winrar , 7-zip or Winzip)
And even acrhive them to dvd5 format.

When you want to play said game,
Just copy all the zipped acrhives and extract the image,

Mount the image using deamon tools and play.

It is much more reliable to make an image and compress/split it,
Rather than copying and pasting folders,
By using an image , you also Have an exact copy,
Which you wont get any other way.
And your assured your not missing any files ect..
