Do DDR1 RAMs work in DDR2 slots?

    So now that I can't find a motherboard that supports DDR1 with AM2 processor slot.. I'm just asking do the DDR1 RAMs (400) work in DDR2 slots?

    No you can't. DDR1 ram has 184 pins and DDR2 has 240 pins. Plus the notch is in a different spot. So DDR1 wont fit into a DDR2 slot
