sony mini dv dcr-trv19 problem

    ok i got a dcr trv19, FOR SOME reason when i go 2 record, the lcd screen shows up black and also the viewfinder thing?

    what the hell? does any1 know what the problem is, and no i havnt left the cap on or anything, is there a switc or something?

    yea it powers up, but when i go 2 record the screen is black.

    only thing that records is the audio...

    I did a search on the video camera, and it looks like there is a history of failures on that model. CNet and Amazon are two places that you can check the owner reviews.

    Also, contact Sony.
