I took everything apart because the tray wouldn't open. I managed 2 fix that (by aligning the white slide to the left) and it ejected perfectly. Until I put the first cover on. the one with the white plastic circle with a magnet. the magnets won't release and let the tray eject.

The cogs are probably not correctly aligned, preventing the rotor motor from moving down when you press eject, which is why the tray is not opening.
