After a couple hours of research I soft modded my xbox using evox and xbhdm. I later did some more research and got a 40gig hd and got that all setup and running. One problem though , it says my e: drives free space is 5.117.444.096 , isnt that 5gbs? where is my other 35gbs, all i currently have installed is the evox dashboard.

    Thanks in advance.

Try formatting the other drives. Maybe they got put on the F, and G. I think thats only the case with a 137, but you could proove me wrong. Just go to the Format Menu with UnleashX, and type in "xbox" as the password (no quotes).

E: is only 5 gigs.. it's all it can be due to the xbox formatting protocol. You need to go into your dash settings and enable F:

then you need to run a formatting tool (unleashx or off an installer disk) and format that F: space.

Thank you very much gentleman. I found the elusive 5 drive with its delicious 31gb left. What I need to do now that ive got my feet wet is locate a 80gb or MAYBE a 120 and that should do the trick.

By the way, i tried XBMC its great.

120GB ?, naw. I've put a 500GB in my main xbox now, it had a 250GB (which i thought i wouldn't fill), and the 500GB only has about 140GB free already; would have bought a 750GB but the price difference is too much right now; and even if i did i'd have wanted something bigger; though as far as i'm aware 750GB is as far as IDE goes anyways..

But yes, XBMC is awesome, i have 3 xboxes with XBMC on now, and a 4th yet to setup
