I was wondering if there was a way to get past the schools blocked command prompt. i know that if you save command.com and a .bat file it will bring up the command prompt and i tried that in school. when i tried that it would just tell me that it is disabled by the administrator so i was wondering if there was a way to get around that.

Yes. Buy a computer and use it at home. Your school has computer usage policies which you should follow. These are meant to (a) protect the school's IT systems from damage by students fooling around and (b) help prevent students wasting time fooling around when they should be getting on with the work assigned to them. If you have a good enough reason for wanting to use the command prompt, tell your teacher and maybe he or she will arrange it for you.

It is against the policy of this forum, I think, to help people get around school or work administrator's restrictions.
