Debranding my sony ericsson w580i

    so i have w580i and i cant use mp3 as ringtones i have been doing some searching around and apparently i have to DEBRAND my phone

    i am currently with rogers (Canadian carrier)

    just wanted to know exactly what it means to debrand the phone and will it let me use MP3 as ringtones?

    i just debranded my sony Ericsson W580i and it lets me use anything that will play as a ringtone.
    it also gives you some super cool flash themes.

    go to you tube and search for "Debranding sony ericsson" and watch the video. it will tell you what you need to download and what to do wit hit. its very simple
