If anyone could help me with this problem i would greatly appreciate it. I have several import movies on my computer that have no subtitles, instead i had to download the file seperately then drag it and drop it into the movie when it starts in order for the subtitles to run. I recently bought a ps3 and im trying to find a program that lets me put the files together so when i save the movie/video to the ps3 it already has the encoding for the subtitles in the file.

I don't think that the PS3 supports subtitles in MP4. I've tried muxing .srt, .ttxt into MP4 using Yamb w/MP4Box but they seem to disappear. When I goto the properties of a MKV with subtitles, it lists them. On the MP4, Yamb says everything went ok but when I goto file properties, the subs aren't listed. Not only that, but when I play back in Zoom Player, it says that there are no subtitles. I'm not sure whats going on.

i managed to get subtitles put into the movie finallly but the only problem is the subtitles are on but no sound this time. Then when i did manage to get both on there the audio was off track. If you want to give it a try i used Media Subtitler and Virtual Dub
