Hello my pc has developed a strange problem When i put a cd or dvd into the drive the cd spins and pc recognises the disk (for example splash screen comes up asking me if i wish to install said piece of software). but after i click install it just spins with the read light flashing and nothing else happens. If i click the eject button and load the dvd/ cd again and click retry the software installs as normal. I have tried uninstalling nero as i thought that might be a conflict,even did a windows repair, I tried using my 2nd drive which is a CD burner but i still have the same problem Can anyone please help me? Darran heres just a thought ..close all your protection (antispywae and antivirus) and run through the motions again.
