Password protect folders in Vista?

    i was wanting to password protect specific folders in vista to hide the contents from others. anyone have any idea how i should go about doing this?

    If you have Vista higher than Vista Home, you can right click the folder and go Properties > Advanced > Encrypt Contents to Secure Data (details). If this option is greyed out for you, you'll have to use some third-party software. Winzip works well: when making a new archive, click the "Password" button in the setup dialog box. Or you could just do a google search on "freeware encryption".
