please please please help!

i have no idea what im doing! ive had my ipod video for a while now, but its giving me problems. when i put it on this monring, i went to play a song when it froze. a white screen is on it and it says "connect to your computer and use itunes to restore." so i connected it to my ocmputer and now it wont show up in itunes or even in my computer. it jsut says on my toolbar a device is in. once for a breif moment it recognized in itunes but when i hit restore, it said there was an error and it couldnt restore it and it wont show in itunes again. i have windows if that helps. ive tried both usbs and different chords as well. please help me!!!

 

try repairing it with a tool like floola

(you can also use floola like you would itunes)

i'd also try uninstalling then installing the latest version of itunes
