    Greetings all.
Recently ive been thrust into the world of wireless networking on my computers.I require a fair bit of help so any posts that help are greatly appreciated.
    Heres the setup...
Cable internet hooked in to a wireless router (D-Link DI 524).This works fine as this is where im accessing this site from.
The router works fine with my Playstation3 after alot of struggles to get that working it now works. However the problem now arises with another computer in the house i wish to wirelessly connect to this host.
I bought a D-Link DWL G122 USB wireless adaptor and have tried to get it working. It will connect to the signal between 80 and 95% strength, but then drop within 5 seconds, never actually connecting to open even a website. The computer im trying to connect runs on Millenium edition windows.
Im new to the networking and wireless world so please be patient with my stupidity. Thanks for your time and your responses

Do you get any error messages of any kind ?
Post them if you do, otherwise check these things -
Do you have the same workgroup name applied to all computers ?
Do you have ecryption set up on the wireless router ? If so, you will need to enter the ecryption code in the computer trying to connect to the router.
Be sure network sharing is set up on computer - do youhave file sharing enabled
It sounds like the network adapter is seeing the signel and showing you the wireless signel, but never connects to that network. Let us know
