usb malfunction

    I just build a new pc, every things seem to work fine, but when i plug in the zune to put in the music the message pop up usb malfunction. What was cause the malfunction, please help.

    PC spec
    Gigabyte motherboard (GA-73VM-S2)
    cpu E6600
    Video card Visiontek hd 2600 pro

    Is it all the USB ports? This happened on one of my front USB ports. I had noticed that when I put it together I had the Data + and Data - wires mixed up.
