    Hi folks,
I have a Samsung PS-42E7HD 42" plasma tv with a strange problem. It's just over a year old and there's strange picture interference going on. When I first switch it on from "cold" I get very slight blue "sparklies" on the screen which eventually settles down after half an hour. But there is a constant "grain" on dark images no matter what input or picture settings I use or power socket it's fed from. Does anyone have the same problem or know what's causing it? This thing cost me €1800 in Nov '06 and shouldn't be this poor.

    Thanks in advance.

If you lay a plasma down on the back or front of itself any time in it's life, you have to buy a new one, doing so ruins them. If there is an option to set everything back to factory default, do that. TV Interference can be caused by 2 way radios ex: HAM radio, two-way radio (like police types) if your neighbours have abnormal antennae on their roof, call the European equivalent to Industry Canada or FCC - a government agency that regulations broadcast and communications and complain about the interference.
