eurovox tx no sound when changed to video mode

i connected by eurovox tx to my video/dvd player when i change to video mode or try to record there is no sound, will play dvds ok no prob wit sound there, all the scarf cables seem to be in ok anyone any ideas... thanks

 

Dont have a TX but do you have it set to PAL1 in TV settings.

 

hi scouser thanks for the repy dont seem to have pal 1 on my tv menu have ext 1 av1 and all that stuff tried all dat it worked perfect on my chorus box its just when i transferred over the boxes the scarfs are all in de right place 2 in de box,one on the back of the video and one one the tv

 

i almost forgot tried pal on the box as well no joy

You need 3 scart leads

1. EV to TV
2. Video to TV
3. EV to Video

thanks celtic 71 will try that as soon as i sort out the 4 million wires at the back of my tv and my hubbie isnt standing behind me waiting for sound to come he is a technophobic
