LIE-ON DD A100

    I have had a problem with the sound about 3 seconds out really annoying.I decided to try and upgrade software but i think i have bricked it .It said upgrading told me to restart unfortunately it never came back on .There is no power at all there any ideas anyone ..PLEASE IT`S MY MOMS..

    If the upgrade came from the liteon site it would be in a zip format and would have to be un-zipped. That file is the one to use You say the unit took in and indicated it was upgrading, and may very have done so.
    By your post there is no power to the unit display or ay power.
    You MAY have blown a fuse and it might not be related to the upgrade and shouldn't have but just happned

    hi < It`s not a fuse in the power lead as i have tried another lead unless it`s something else i really don`t know.

    The fuse is not in the power lead [cord]its inside the case

    do you mean take the player apart and look inside for it ?

    Yes --- But No you don't have to take the machine apart Just take the top of the case off.
    I'm just going by your post and guessing it may be a fuse. However it seems that when you say no power at all, that may not be the case.
    Its indicated you had no trouble with the up-grade. If it truly has NO Power at all and not even the display comes on
    You might want to take the unit to a repair person and heve it checked
