That will do clones as well as you are using the older firmware on your box anything under v2.60 is safe to use on clones just does not autoroll so you have the choice get the sports back and lose the autoroll feature that decision is for yourselves to make
Did somebody say there's a firmware update being made at the moment to sort this? Will it auto-roll? Do you think it will take a while? I'm using the 257e_E Fixed Cheers
Any fixes that are made they will not work on clone boxes so you can rule that out straight away Yes scouser was just there and sorted now thanks
if you are using V4.00 your box must not be a clone or it would be dead now you would need to check click on the link on the bottom of scouser post to see ok
hi again guys I have try this this Storing Star View Channels Originally posted by sd1976: -------------------------------------------- can I store channels on my pc so if I lose them again I just download to the box You can also try this , it might help: 1 - connect your pc/laptop to your Starview 2 - goto user setup on the Starview 3 - select S/W Transfer This will now open a box that apears to be awaiting a connection. 4 - open GTRom Loader v4.oo and select Channel Data File. 5 - Click Upload Locate and save your bin file on your hardrive I put in my save name press save All I gets is (fail) Regards Mr Green
The only thing you need is your cable and your gtrom loader and only use that only to up load the channel dump to your pc there is no need to go near any other settings on the box or sw transfer either ok
Hi I connected my cable from box to computer. click on gtrom, clicked on ch-data, clicked on upload, put in my save name on c/:click save, wait then upload failed Regards Mr Green
