Hi, The last 4-5 DVD's that i've tried burning have ended up with the same error at the end : "Verification aborted, too much errors". When i don't verify the disk, the disk appears to be empty. I've been using Genuine Taiyo-Yuden 8x DVD's, this batch is fine as i'm already half way through it and didn't experience any problems with the first half. Is there something i can do to fix this problem? I'm guessing its my dvd burner. i just hope its not dead Thanks guys

Although you are burning way too slow (2X) it shows burn as successful..does the DVD play after burning. I would also suggest burning at 4X...I NEVER verify my burns.
Yeah, i usually burn about 4-6x, this is just the last test and i thought that my speed was the problem. The DVD doesn't play at all, when i stick it into a computer it just shows a blank disk, when i put it in a DVD player, it says its not supported. I only tried verifying it because of the number of disks that i was burning being blank.
while you are burning your pc is doing over time with other software! Physical memory : 1023MB (1047916kB) Free physical memory: 280MB (287376kB) Memory in use : 72 % dont mutitask, reboot pc then burn at 6x... -------------- i dont verify either...
I just tried again, forgot to save the log file but disk was corrupted once again. Only had the basic startup programs open + Windows Live Messenger, shouldn't have been an overload of programs as i've burnt like this before. Is there any other soltuion to my problem?
