I have 3 drive,, E-IDE 45x reader, Sony CD-RW CRX1611 and a Sony DVD RW DRU-510a. Im trying to make a backup of Raven Shield, Protected by Safedisc2.8 i think. I tryed many software, like ddump, alchohol120%, nero, clone cd, blindwrite and others. It give me Impossible to read sector xxx 0 to infinite ! So i dont know if its my computer or the cd. I really need to backup cd 2... Alternative Read mode is not supported by blindwrite for all my drives. Im really lost ! Some one can help me !?

When reading a image of Safedisc cd protection, it is common to encounter read errors during the the first 1-10,500 sectors of the cd image so don't worry, be happy! Be sure to enable "fast skip error" and read the image slow(24x). [/b]I can't recall if your Sony CRX1611 is a "1 sheep burne or a 2 sheep burner"(see 2 sheep burner sticky thread). If it's a 1 sheep you play the backup in your cd burner with "hide cd-r" enabled in startup (system try). If it's a 2 sheeper then play the backup in your dvd\cd-rom.

Use the latest CloneCD 4.3.1.9 now owned by Slysoft which moved their company (Elaboryte Bytes). In this latest version, you have the option to "hide cd-r" and "amplify weak sectors" in the write process if you own a "1 sheep burner".
