cyberlink powerdirector project size different when finish?

hi!! i just start to use powerdirector for last week, when i do custom my dvd and save as dvd-file (not burn to disc)..
when i do project as i see size was 6500mb (dual layer dvd) but when i finish and check dvd folder there only 3.58gb, i have been try 4 times result still same no different...

i just scratch it my head and can not understand....
when i use EMC 10 i never has any problem...because i want subtitle that why i bought powerdirector 6...the only thing i can not understand why project size and actual output size alsway different (the output size alsway 3.58gb as said above,..any suggest will be appreciated...
