Before I make my big switch, I have a quick question..
My video card is very old, its a Voodoo card. Theres a sticker on it that says: V555364, it says 3dfx in the top left hand corner, I believe thats the company that makes it.
Were could I find a driver for this video card?
And, is a video card even needed? I don't plan on doing any gaming at all.

I did some searching and it appears to be a 3DFX Voodoo5 5500 PCI; i used to swear by the older Voodoo cards, since the very first cards came out back in Victorian times, they were fantastic cards. Anyways you should hopefully find that it's just auto-detected ok

Sounds good. I will install Ubuntu today and hope for the best. Someone on IRC told me its a pain in the arse to get a video driver working...
