want to convert to new computer, how?

    i want to convert my itunes over to a new laptop i bought. can i still keep it on my desktop computer also? i guess what i am trying to ask is can i put it on my laptop and also have it on my desktop?

    you can install and log into your itunes account for that ipod on up to four different computers

    will my library be there? or will i have to download that to a disc and move it all over also?

    its no good if you just take the mp3's, info will be lost, it'll be out of order...and just in ruin!
    follow this guide and you can restore your itunes perfectly on any computer!

    there is also the program called sharepod. its easy to use and self explanatory. it is designed specifically for putting your music from your ipod to your computer after you have reformatted or just want to share your music with other people or just transfer everything from your ipod to a new computer. including videos. i dont know about photos due to not using my 80 gig ipod video for it.

    or if you know what your doing, you can piggy back your old HD to your New HD and just copy your music, or other files you would like to save.

    you may copy you itunes to your ipod first, and then use some software to transfer the files from ipod to your new pc.
    i recommend a one-click-backup software called aniosoft ipod smart backup.
