I just got a mac and everything is new to me. I used to have Utorrent for windows and it was way faster, Is there anyway to speed up Transmission for mac? Is it the best BitTorrent client for Mac?

You might need to turn on NAT in your router or forward the appropriate ports in your router.
Transmission is a very good Mac client. I prefer Azureus but it's more difficult to use.
