Plus format, locally: Go for the Best Buy Verbatim. On sale, less than 25 cents each. There should be a verbatim sale coming soon, maybe tomorrow?
On the web: Get the Taiyo yuden. I couldn't find any + format Verbatim under 30 cents each in bulk, not incuding the shipping. That's the major drawback with ordering plus format from the web, costs more than the dash format.
Supermediastore has been getting most of my business lately with the cheapest prices.
The walmarts around me don't have much dvd media any more.

Imation is about all they carry now in my realm. I used to get my Hitachi Made white full hub injet printables at wallyworld. They used to carry sony as well. Not anymore.
I pick up 100 pks of cd envelopes there for $5.50 and see their lack of supply for blank media. I always check there in case they have a clearance. Got lucky last year and got 4 of the 25 pks of Hitachi Full hub +8x maxells.

Those are very good. Either made by prodisc or cmagnatics-depending what spindles you get. Both manufacturers use Mitsubishi Advanced Metal AZO dye and Verbatims strict quality standards.
On top of the spindle, for the arrows to open spindle "OPEN" and "CLOSE". You'll see either Bold lettering or Itallic. That used to be the way to tell them apart. Look for the Itallic lettering for the cmag verbs,if I'm not mistaken. Someone correct me if there's a better method to find out who made those +16x verbs.
Some prefer the cmag verbs over the prodisc verbs.
Taiyo Yuden also made some of the Verbs, and their spindles will say made in japan. I seen a lot of negative feedback about the Made in India Verbatim.
5 different manufacturers for verbatim media? Catching up with memorex, maxell, and most of the other brand name media.
