Hey guys I’m getting this problem with my screen where if I leave it on for longer than 40 seconds or so it will automatically go black. The power light stays on but it sounds like it’s short circuiting and the screen goes black. At first I thought it was a problem with the fuse but even with a fuse change its still turning off… Ive also noticed that the longer I keep the socket of the monitor off the longer it will last. Average = 40 seconds but sometimes it can be 10 seconds and other times it can last for minutes.. :’( Please help me guys!

its probably a power option feature of your operating system. Go to your control panel and then go into 'performance and maintanence'. Then click on power options and check it from there.

you said you replaced the fuse? then i guess you have a faulty moitor. My friend had the same problem. he would turn on the monitor then after like a minute it just goes black. He connected the monitor to my computer and the same thing happend. He ended just buying a new one. H efigured ittl be cheaper to buy a new one rather than paying for it to be fixed.
