    Hi,
I have a powerbook G4 12" (the most recent one) with mac os Tiger (10.4.11) and have been using it without any problems for the past year or two. I used bluetooth to transfer files between it and my LG KG245 mobile phone 2 or 3 times before. Today i went to transfer a song and the bluetooth button in System preferences was gone. System profiler says 'No information found'.

By typing in bluetooth in spotlight Bluetooth appears under system preferences but clicking on it takes me to system preferences main window. The bluetooth file exchange app which i normally use says: "In order to use this application, you must have a Bluetooth module. Please verify that your Bluetooth hardware is properly attached to the computer."

    Can anyone help me?
    I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks,
    Nikhilr51

it could be a software issue of hardware. Try and make a new user and see if that fixes it. if it does its software. If it doesn't i would do an archive and install if that didnt fix it then its probably a dead bluetooth card/ or just came unplugged.
