Cant play back movies

Hi Guys,

I have dl some movies from bittorrent. they are avi format. However, i cannot seem to play them. Any kind soul to guide me?

 

See if they play with 'VLC'.

Tried using VLC. Still the same. maybe the avi is corrupted. Anyway, thanks once again

 

Drag the file onto 'GSpot' to see what codec it uses - and if it's installed.
