Hi, Im thinking of making my pc into a multi burner but i first wanted to find out if it was possible.

i have just got 2 dvdrw ide drives and im thinking about adding another 2 drives and burning to all 4 drives at once. is this possible?

This is the spec of my PC

9500 phenom CPU
4gb Ram
500GB hd
asus M3A32 MVP Deluxe mobo
2x samsung dvdrw (possibly 4)

Why infest the computer with Vista? Nero has the option to use multiple burners when run on XP.

what kind of fans would i need? just ordinary case fans?

At the moment on my main pc i have 3 internal dvd burners, 1 external dvd-rom and 1 external dvd burner (they're both in USB2.0 enclosures); might add another couple dvd burners via external usb 2.0; all works great on XP and Nero 6.6.0.18 here

at the current time i only have 2 burners in my new build. but will have 4.. you can use nero and choose multiple drives and burn up to 5 disc at once. i have done 3 before with no problem and all 3 finished at the same time. if yo have the Phenom you shouldnt have any problem with it working smoothly for you..there is a thread here that Garmoon made a nice guide for this.. ill find it and link it to you..

as promised. check this link outand follow it how garmoon states and you can burn multiple disc until your tired...lol
