My new plasma has a buzzing noise and I was told by Circuit City that it may be due to my power supply and that I might need to get a power filter. It's sort of of like a power strip and is over $100.00. He said it should also make my plasma last twice as long. Do you think that's the case or is the noise due to something wrong with my plasma?
the power going into your tv or any appliance comes in spikes, a filter box makes it very smooth, and yes it is said to help prolong the plasma tube longer i have 2 plasmas on 2 filters, look around for cheaper version at DIY stores... i had buzzing as my pc is dvi to hdmi tv, i had alot of electrical stuff next to tv, i made room spaced things out and buzzing has gone...
