My New CPU and my computer

ok i recently bought a processor from newegg because mine is just to slow for what i need. after a thread of questions on here i bought this one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116215

i just moved my motherboard and all parts and hardware to the new antec case i bought. i installed my new cpu and plugged the computer in as normal. the computer started up and started windows up with no errors. it loaded windows fully and 5 seconds later it restarted itself. it got to the windows log in page and gave me an error saying something about an I/O error. So i took out the new cpu and put my old one back in and it is back to normal. i am using the computer to type this thread. any thoughts on how to fix it. i was under the impression that it is the right cpu for my motherboard. the thread i started to figure out what i needed is this one. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/631405
