Hello,
have you dropped you're avi onto virtualdub?
Does it work? What codec does it use ?

If it works in Virtualdub, you could try frameserving to Tmpgenc.
Should be perfect that way.

I too am having the same problem... and was looking for some solution...

I'm trying to convert a few .avi videos I had created that I want to add to a DVD that will be playable on computers as well as TV (so I can show the videos I have created in a portfolio review). I had been searching around for how to do that and some one suggested this program and I thought I'd give it a shot.

As TMPGEnc works I can see my video and it says everything worked fine. I then go to play that video and I hear the track but see just a blank, black screen in Real Player when I normally play my .avi file in Real Player it plays fine.

I tried the new .mpg video in VirtualDub and again it runs fine, and says that there are no errors. So I don't know what to do. I'm stumped! Any ideas? Help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!! :D

Thanks in advance!

(Oh and Junpak I’m so sorry I can’t offer any advice or insight myself but it helps a little for me to know that I’m not the only one who’s having this issue.)
