How to set my audio settings back to default in window xp???

    My little cousin was messing with my sound in the control panel and now I want to restore my audio settings back to the way that I had it. I want to set it back to my default settings. Can someone please help me???

    hit start-->control panel-->audio and sound devices. On the new window click on the sound tab. then select 'windows default' in the sound scheme drop menu. hit apply then ok.
