    Ok heres the deal,

my laptop is configured properly to be able to connect to a basic wireless unencrypted router.

Basically the problem is that that when i scan for wireless networks using the windows wireless zero configuration tool, it picks up several networks (Including mine) but when i go to connect to ANY network whether its at home or away, the laptop does not connect, and when i try to connect to a wep secured network, it doesnt even ask me to verify the wep key, it just goes straight to (Cannot Connect Error)

Everything is set on the router to dhcp, my other computers connect to it perfectly when they are wireless so im thinking maybe this laptop isnt completely configured right... shoot my a message and we can try to get this working.

btw, the computer im using is a gateway w34oui .
search that model, and u will find what kind of net adapter i have.

check your firewalls, also have you tried adjusting your internet protocals to automatically detect the settings?

Windows Zero can be quite annoying. Did your network adapter come with any software?
