This first half is the story, if u dont' want to read it scroll to the line. I tried to help a friend over the internet upgrade his dash to avalaunch and he said it completely messed up. Was stuck at the avalaunch screen. So he sent it to me all the way from california. I was workin on couple other xbox's and got them all set to ship out so i figured well i'll tackle this. I tried to power it on and well it came up to the avalaunch screen then completely froze. I took it apart noticed all the hdd screws were missing. the top screw and the ones for the dvd drive were missin and about half the mb screws were missing. So i knew someone who didn't know what they were doing was in there. Next thing i did was try to load my game exploit and it would just kick me back to the frozen avalauch screen. Then I got out my eeprom reader. Got it all hooked up and it just didn't work. I went to power it on again and the xbox would power on then off then on then off then flash yellow. So great, i disconnect the eeprom reader. Hook it up to the tv, wait a few seconds and it goes to this screen signed by supaflo. (WTF NOT MS BIOS) Then i took the hard drive and hooked it up to a computer using xboxhdm and i tried to unlock it. Waiting for it to say "hard drive key invalid" or something like that it said "hdd not locked" So then i loaded xplorer360 and got into it and put his stock C: back on his box. Well it's all working now but i'm still stuck as how to upgrade it to avalaunch. I've tried to copy aid to the xbox and run it but it just restarts the box. I've tried to just move files with no luck. I've tried about 4 or 5 different things and haven't really gotten anywhere. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway i'm wondering what is the default file that the executer 2 bios loads. If i can find that file and change it I can get avalaunch to work. I figure now i can't really mess anything up because i can rewrite it with xplorer 360. I would just like to get this set and back to him. If you guys could tell me the file hierarchy and how it's all set up that's all i need. I've modded more than enough xbox's to know what i'm doing, but i've never dealt with a different bios like this. I'm going to try to do a softmod installer next, but who knows how that's going to go. Just let me know if any of you have ideas. Thanks C4RN1
Nevermind guys i got it all set, I used a different evoxdash.xbe file that was patched to load avalaunch. Crazy people flashing the xbox's bios... Here's some pics of the whole problem solving process lol http://www.putfile.com/album/181402
