Hi, I have just ordered a Eurovox Max V 2008 which is being delivered tomorrow, I am just wondering after doing some research on it whether I will need specific codes/keys to correctly tune this box in my area with my provider. I am in Bradford, West Yorks on V*rg*n Me**a, will I be able to just plug the box in, and presto, all channels? Any advice is welcome? Also, will the quality be the same as through my standard cable box provided by V*rg*n? One more thing, I have read that I will be able to pick up Sky Box Office, is this everything broadcast, as Sky are constantly showing new movies on this, or will I just get the odd PPV item, like boxing or wrestling? Again, thanks for your time, I am completely new to these cable receiver boxes, although I am not exactly a technophobe, so all advice and tips are welcome. Should I buy one of these R32 cable things to conect to my laptop? What will be the benefits of this? My friend has a starview The Box, and his channels are all over the place, I presume ti is possible to sort them out on a Eurovox so they are in some kind of understandable order, is this easy to do? Thanks again. BenN74
Thanks a lot mate. Managed to sort it out and now have all channels in an order I like. Brilliant piece of kit! lol!
kmacdon i agree with ur comment for getting the channels the way u want them thats a pain on euro max unlike the box which is simple anytime u press ok on the euro it saves felt like bouncing the remote off the wall glad it wasnt just me
Guys, Quick update the new Kuro v3 beta 28.03.2008 auto updates your favorites list after powerscan. DO NOT LOAD THIS INTO A CLONE BOX AS IT WILL KILL IT! KMAC.
Hi Kmacdon, I just wondered where I can downloaded the latest eurovox max V firmware you mentioned. Also I have what I believe is a orginal eurovox bax, but how can you tell it is not a CLONE? Thanks RCH
