What programs should I be running in the background on Vista to optimize my "gaming experience" lol. Meaning what programs are going to have to be essential to the the game. I have an HP (if that help cause I know they have some usless stuff running in the background) running Vista 32 bit duh, and thats all I think I need to say.
well, it all depends. Essentially for a good gaming experience, you need to have no other programs running i.e internet explorer, messengers, media players etc. It will let your pc concentrate more on running the game other than have to be working multiple programs. Now if your talking about optimizing your gamming experience, mess with the game's options to fit your needs. Sometimes you have to sacrifice sound/video quality to help the game run smoother.
