dvd dl playback only in nero

I have made a backup copy of a movie with copytodvd on a fujifilm dvd +dl (have worked for me before). The problem is that the I cannot playback the dvd in anything other than nero. I cannot even open the dvd to see what files are on it. The burner I used to burn it does not recognize the disk in powerdvd or through windows explorer. It tells me it is in an unsupported format. I have burned DLs on this drive before with the same software and had no problem. Please help.
