All of a sudden I had burn problems (system reboots) in Nero 7.5.9.0 after several years of problem-free burns. I uninstalled, used the clean tool and re-installed. Tried to burn a DVD-9 and Windows XP rebooted during the lead-out write! I checked InfoTool and there is no ASPI tab! Was this dropped in this version? Adaptec's aspicheck told me that the aspi layers were working fine. Anyone have a guess what the heck is going on? Too many Windows updates maybe? Should I update to the latest upgrade for Nero 7? My burner is LITE-ON SOHW-1693S.
Nero stopped using ASPI with version 7. The old version of 'Info tool' shows the ASPI tab (and reads the presence of ASPI). The new Info tool 5, doesn't have the tab.
